About The Event
Perfect for the young chef! We cover the basics and challenge the skill set: how to read a recipe, knife skills, kitchen safety, how to crack an egg, etc. All the while, we'll be making fabulous dishes and having fun! Recipes to be made will include pasta & meatballs, tacos/quesadillas, pizza, soft pretzels and donuts. Somewhat technical, full of information and most importantly FUN - good to inspire the kids to continue building on their skills at home. We will also expect the young chefs to help clean up afterward; therefore teaching the responsibility of tidiness after all the mess-making!
This is a multi-day course. This session begins on June 8th through June 11th. We will meet each day starting at 1 pm and will be done by 3 pm. Kids are welcome to eat what we make in class and any leftovers will be sent home for the family to enjoy later.
Young chefs will also receive their own aprons and a cookbook to keep!
